What is MRD?

Measurable (or minimal) residual disease (MRD) refers to the small number of cancer cells that may remain in the body during and after treatment.1

Even if you are responding well to treatment or are in remission, MRD can be present at such low levels that it doesn’t cause any physical signs or symptoms, which may be a sign that your cancer is returning.1

When it comes to treating blood cancer, your doctor’s ability to detect these traces of disease may be important for making timely and informed decisions about your treatment plan.1-5

Measuring MRD with clonoSEQ
